FESTIVAL DES COUTELIERS Vallorbe switzerland

From April 4 to 6, 2026, the MUSÉE DU FER ET DU CHEMIN DE FER in Vallorbe, Switzerland, will host the nineteenth edition of the Cutlers Festival. Studio Blade has proudly exhibited at this event for the past three years, and we are excited to participate again in 2026.

Following the 2025 edition dedicated to Scandinavian cultures, the Museum will present an focus on South Africa. This year’s festival will feature six artisan cutlers from diverse backgrounds and origins.

Through this careful selection, the project aims to highlight the richness of South African craftsmanship while reflecting the country's cultural and social plurality. This is a deliberate choice to showcase a contemporary, complex, and vibrant South Africa without clichés or simplifications.
